Veterans Legal Clinic Opens

Indigent and low-income veterans living in South Carolina will soon have access to free legal services thanks to a new Veterans Legal Clinic that will open Monday, July 2 at the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Real ID Cards Now Available

Governor Henry McMaster was joined by SC Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) Director Col. Kevin Shwedo to announce that South Carolina’s new driver’s licenses and identification cards, including those compliant with the federal REAL ID Act of 2005, are now available for purchase SCDMV branches statewide.

NESA Holds Annual Meeting

The North Eastern Strategic Alliance (NESA) announced its member counties had a record $857 million in capital investment in 2017 during its 2018 Annual Meeting on Monday, Feb. 12 at Carolina’s Hospital Systems Floyd Conference Center.
