Teen Who Took Gun To School Sentenced

Miracle Harley, who pled guilty in August to having a loaded gun at Dillon High School at the end of last school year, was sentenced on Thursday by Judge Paul Burch to five years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections.

Sickened By Abuse Of Goats

I just read an article in The Dillon Herald that really upset me and sickened me about the abuse to the goats. I know what some of you think that they are just goats who cares, well I do and so do a lot of other people.

Unemployment Rate Decreases

In September, the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased to 9.1 percent from the August estimate of 9.6 percent.
Over the month, the number of unemployed people dropped by 10,738 to 194,253.
