Local Nurses Earn Palmetto Gold

McLeod Dillon is pleased to announce that Crystal Hodge, RN, Intensive Care Unit, Christie Hunt, RN, Surgical Services, and Pamela Salmon, RN, Women’s Services, have been selected to receive the 2013 Palmetto Gold Award. Overall, seven McLeod Health Registered Nurses were selected to receive the 2013 Palmetto Gold Award.

Dillon Men Sentenced On Counterfeit Check Charges

United States Attorney Bill Nettles stated that Eduardo Nelson, James Quashaun Scott, both age 27 and of Dillon, SC, were sentenced in federal court in Florence, for conspiracy to manufacture and pass counterfeit securities, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 371.

Dillon SC Works Center To Provide Some Services

The SC Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW) has evaluated its current operations and determined that the number of individuals accessing  unemployment insurance (UI) services is no longer sufficient to justify the deployment of staff at two SC Works affiliate centers in the Pee Dee Region (Dillon and Chesterfield).
