Program Now Offering Up To $5,000 To Innovative Young People

Most high school and college campuses are now closed. Most students are stuck at home, often filling the hours with TikTok and other social media outlets. But for young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who have a new idea or dream they’re trying to pursue, there’s now an opportunity to apply for a grant to make those ideas and dreams a reality.

Wagner Receives District Award Of Merit

Dr. Kyle Wagner, Northeastern Technical College (NETC) President, was awarded the District Award of Merit from the Atakwa District of the Boy Scouts of America. The Atakwa District serves Florence, Chesterfield, Darlington, Marlboro, and Williamsburg Counties.

Schools To Remain Closed Through April

Governor Henry McMaster and South Carolina Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman released the following joint statement announcing that South Carolina’s schools will remain closed for the duration of the month of April.
