The following personnel recommendations were approved at the June meeting of the Dillon District Four School Board:

Mr. Adrian Wright, Band Director, recently hosted the 2020 Virtual Band Banquet.
Debra Pelt Morris, the current principal of Latta Middle School, will retire at the end of the 2019-2020 school year.
Majayla Page was recently elected as the 2020-2021 Student Government Association Chaplain for Claflin University and as the National Pre-Alumni Council Eastern Regional Director for the United Negro College Fund.
Dr. Shenika Jones, 2002 honors graduate of Dillon High School and current Program Director at UNC Pembroke in the College of Health Sciences, was approved for tenure and promotion to the rank of Associate Professor.
Northeastern Technical College (NETC) partnered with local farmers to distribute 1500 packages of market-fresh produce to NETC students and employees on April 30 and May 7 at all NETC campuses.
The Palmetto Boys State Committee has recommended to The American Legion South Carolina Department Executive Board that the 2020 Session of The American Legion Palmetto Boys State be cancelled.
