Criterion Club Holds Summer Camp

Chairman Johnnie Daniels opened the meeting with prayer. Twelve members gave the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Chairman Daniels ask Barbra Causey to introduce guest speaker Don Luehrs for the July meeting.
Jimmie Ervin Daniels, a decorated Vietnam veteran, was awarded a Purple Heart 26 years after he was wounded by shrapnel from a Viet Cong mortar round in an engagement near Tay Ninh. A local veterans group has been formed in his memory.
