Mrs. Barbara Kay Anderson Clark, 78, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 26, 2023, after a long illness surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral service will be Sunday, December 31 at 3:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View. The burial will be at Hayestown Cemetery immediately following the service. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 31 at 2:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
Mrs. Clark was born in Marion County, SC, August 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. Anderson, and Iona Ivey Anderson. She was a member of Hayestown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Clark worked in textiles and as a homemaker until her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother, and Gran Gran.
Survivors include her two daughters, Karen S. Clark, and Lori A. Hill (Darrell), both of Conway; granddaughter, M. Bailey Clark and grandson, K. McKenzie Hill; sister, Betty L. Elliott Latta, SC; many special nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Clark loved the Lord and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of fifty-four years, John Sherwood Clark, sisters Frances Williamson (Junior) of Dillon, SC; Ruby Jean Blackburn of N.C.; Morrie Grace Brewer of Lake View, SC; and her brother Robert H. Anderson of Lake View, SC.
