Rep. Jackie Hayes and Senator Kent Williams came by the future site of the City of Dillon Police Department (the former First Bank building, to present a $865,000 check. They praised the police for all they do and the risk they take every day. The majority of the money will be spent to renovate the first and second floor of the new police station. They are also purchasing two vehicles, doing a radio upgrade for all of the vehicles and doing some renovations and upgrades to the police department firing range.
