Jimmie V. Beach, 91, passed away, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the Bethea Retirement Home.
Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 3, 2023, at the Dillon Second Baptist Church with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Marion County, September 23, 1931, she was was the daughter of the late Walker James Scott and Geneva Collins Scott. She was a member of Dillon Second Baptist Church and later attended College Park Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family, was an avid gardener, prepared meals for shut ins, was a member of the church choir, and was very active in her church.
Survivors include her daughters, Ellen Carol Beach of Florence and Belinda B. Moser of Darlington; son, Larry L. Beach of Dillon; sister, Gloria Hardwick (J.W.) of Dillon; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Preston Beach; sons, Preston W. Beach & Jimmy Frank Beach.
