Matt Wilson, State Government Director for Charter Communications/ Spectrum, appeared at the Dillon County Council meeting recently to update the council on the status of broadband service in the county.
He happily reported that as of the end of last month that Spectrum was 99 percent complete with projects in the county on their expansion.
This does not include some of the additional addresses provided as well as some other places they are working on. They are also working on any places they may have missed.
With where they were versus where they are today, Spectrum has built nearly 230 miles of fiber in the county connecting 2,100 locations.
