Services for Billie Ann Allen were held 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2022 at Latta Southern Methodist Church with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation was held 4:00-5:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Billie Ann, 58, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Marion County, SC, October 31, 1963, she was the daughter of Elizabeth Berry “Lib” Cooke and the late Billy W. Cooke. Billie Ann was employed by Carolina Poultry, First Bank having worked for twenty seven years, and worked three years at Shuler’s Barbeque. She attended Latta Southern Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Lafon Allen of Latta; son, Hunter Allen of Charlotte, NC; mother, Elizabeth Berry “Lib” Cooke of Latta; sisters, Laura Cooke of Latta and Sandy Owens (Mark) of Hartsville; niece, Hannah Owens (Preston); nephew, Brandon Owens; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Mabel Allen of Latta; grandpup, Nash.
Billie Ann was preceded in death by her father, Billy W. Cooke; and her brother-in-law, Laurie Allen.
