On this Memorial Day, Americans will gather in community parks and squares for the purpose of REMEMBERING those who went off to war and did not come home.
Dillon, we will gather on May 30th at 11 a.m. at Veterans Square for a program presented by the Dillon County Veterans of the Year (VOY) organization that will honor those heroes and REMEMBER the sacrifices they made in combat defending the democratic values and freedoms we as Americans still have today.
Across America many will be enjoying a 3-day weekend filled with burgers and dogs, some time with family and friends, and a time to just relax.
We at VOY wish you a GREAT Memorial Day holiday but ask that you take a moment to REMEMBER our fallen heroes and the sacrifices made by them for us. Please consider being a part of the Dillon community Memorial Day ceremonies to REMEMBER those men and women by attending this Memorial Day program.
