It is with great sadness that we share the passing of James Tracey Berry (11/30/1944 – 1/12/2022) of Myrtle Beach, SC. He was the adopted son of Rowland, NC and Albertine McKellar.
Tracey grew up in Little Rock, SC and attended Rowland High School. After graduating in 1967 he attended Campbell College prior to serving our country in the US Navy by doing 3 tours in Vietnam. This enabled him to travel the world through his service.

He worked as an interior decorator, artist and restauranteur. Tracey had many talents including an unbelievable love of people and the ability to keep us all connected. He was responsible for a yearly life celebration to honor Albertine McKellar which will continue adding Tracey as an honoree.
Tracey leaves behind many family members and friends. He had a special love for little Ayden Bowie who he considered his grandchild. One of the recent highlights of his life was to attend The Polar Express this Christmas with Ayden.
There will be a celebration of life Sunday, January 23 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Chestnut Hill Restaurant in Myrtle Beach where he was currently employed.
