A shooting occurred early Sunday morning on Wix Road, according to City of Dillon Police Chief David Lane. One person is hospitalized,  and one is dead, Lane said. The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. SLED Crime Scene came and processed scene. No further information is available at this time.
