Fourth Circuit Judge Paul Burch presided over a term of General Sessions Court in Dillon last week where nearly 100 people appeared for various hearings, mostly guilty pleas. Cyril Lowery was sentenced to prison for a burglary that occurred in December 2020. Andrew Sipka was sentenced to prison for abusing a child earlier this year. David Brown was sentenced to prison for criminal sexual conduct that occurred in 2018.
Antron McRae was sentenced to prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Jessica Blackmon and Lamont Simmons were sentenced to prison for distribution of ecstasy.
Daniel Hamer was sentenced to prison for domestic violence, resisting arrest and threatening an officer.
