Services for Clara M. Carter will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Carter, 95, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at MUSC Health Marion Medical Center.
Born in Dillon County, SC, August 27, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Mack Caulder and Blanche Daniels Caulder. She was a member of Latta Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Evans (Jimmy) of Lake View; son, Ralph Carter (Susan) of Latta; grandchildren, Julie Floyd (Richard), and Brenton Carter; great-grandchildren, Mason & Lance Floyd, Ellie & Brenton Carter, Jr.; friend, Betty Brooks of Latta; sister, Elizabeth Moranchel (Rafael) of Marion.
Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Dunn Carter; son, Kenneth Carter; granddaughter, Lily Carter; sister, Doris Rogers; and brother, Mike Caulder.
