Services for Ronald Dean Chestnut will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Dillon Church of God with burial in Oakland Holiness Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Chestnut, 57, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, May 21, 1964, he was the son of Jeanette Campbell Chestnut and the late George Melton Chestnut. He was employed by Coastal Agriculture and was a member of Oakland Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife of 24 1/2 years, Denease Chestnut of Hamer; mother, Jeanette Chestnut of Hamer; brother, George Chestnut (Debbie)of Hamer; special aunts, Effie Peele and Jenny Chavis; special sister-in-law, and brother-in-law, Lynn & Roger Quick.
