A group gathered on Monday at the Kwic Stop in Dillon to remember Julandon “Boot” McCallum, who disappeared one year ago on July 13th.
The CUE Center for Missing Persons and the family of Julandon McCallum held the event. It was held at the Kwic Stop because this was the last known place that McCallum was seen.
Family members encouraged anyone who has any information to come forward.
At the time of his disappearance McCallum was 21 years old. He is 6’1” African-American male with short dreads, no piercings or tattoos, and has a childhood scar on his knee, according to a flyer that was handed out at the gathering. He weighs 181 lbs., has black hair, and brown eyes.
