Firefighters from across Dillon County practiced their rescue skills in preparation for the upcoming hurricane season. Multiple classes are planned so that firefighters and rescue members can hone their skills and learn how to keep themselves safe while working in a water rescue environment. Latta Rescue Squad provided equipment and personnel and valuable insights from lessons learned from the past two flooding events. The goal is to get every firefighter and rescue member through this class this year.
