On Thursday, December 19, 2019 the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary at J.W. Bailey’s Grocery, according to Captain Cliff Arnette.
According to an incident report by Deputies Dennis Cox and Chris Moore unknown suspects entered the store and stole items.
The break-in occurred during the night and was discovered Thursday morning.
Bailey was killed at the store on Thursday, December 12 during an armed robbery. His funeral was held on Tuesday, December 17.
