Lady Gators Get Win Over Warriors
The Lake View Lady Wild Gators returned home with a 55-14 win over the Dillon Christian School Lady Warriors in Dillon on Tuesday, December 10.
The Lady Gators held a 10-3 lead after the first quarter and never looked back and continued to build on that lead throughout the game.
Lake View’s Ja’Nayia Waters scored a team-high 14 points whileZan’Dasia McNeil added 8 points and Kasi Page and Tianaa Hamilton each added 7 points. Kasi Page and Jaleya Ford each connected for 6 points. Zaiona Henburgh added 4, and Sa’Nyah Williams connected for 3 points.
The Warriors’ Taylor Britt led with 5 points, and Collins added 3. Hunt, Smith, and DuBose each contributed 2 points.
Lake View will lost Loris on Tuesday, December 17.

DCS Warriors Edge Out Lake View
The Dillon Christian School varsity boys edged the Lake View Wild Gators 74-73 in basketball action played at Dillon Christian School on Tuesday, December 10.
The action-packed, closely contested battle was not decided until the end of the game.
Lake View led 19-16 after the first quarter but trailed by 3 points at halftime. After 3 quarters Lake View trailed by only a 2-point basket.
Weston Glasgrow scored a game-high 25 points for the Warriors. Ethan Brewington added 17 points while Adam Norman and Phillip Campbell each connected for 11 points and Josh Duran had 10 points.
Lake View’s Larry Inman had 21 points followed by Ja’Montrell Waters with 19. Jiqyele Reaves and D. J. Bethea each had 10 points while Johnson and McInnis each added 5. Bullock connected for 3 points.

Lady Gators Get Win Over Johnsonville
The Lake View Lady Wild Gators returned home on Friday, December 13, with a 60-33 win over the Johnsonville Lady Flashes at a varsity basketball game played in Johnsonville.
Lake View held a slim 2-point, 12-10 lead after the first quarter of play. By halftime, Lake View was up by 6 points. The Lake View Lady Wild Gators outscored the Johnsonville Lady Flashes 23-2 in the third quarter.
Lake View’s Ja’Niyah Waters scored a game-high 27 points. McNeil connected for 8 points while Henburgh added 6 points. Williams and Page each added 5 points, and Ford connected for 4 points. Page added 3 points, and Hamilton had 2 points.
Laniya Wilsoon led Johnsonville with 7 points while Graham added 6 points. Timmons and Brown each connected for 5 points. Verner added 4 points, and Wright sank a free throw.
Dillon Wildcats Fall To Latta Vikings
The Dillon Wildcats returned home on Friday, December 13, having suffered a 64-49 loss to the Latta Vikings in a varsity basketball game played in Latta.
Latta held a 16-7 lead after the first period of play. Dillon battled back in the second period of play scoring 15 points to Latta’s 16 points. Latta outscored Dillon 21-7 in the third quarter.
Latta’s Trevion Miles scored a game-high 17 points while Andrew Byrant and D. J. Griffin each added 11 points. Taylor connected for 7 points while Bowman and McRae each added 5 points. Jones had 4 points, and DeBerry had 3 points. Johnson connected for a free throw.
Dillon’s Alford and Wright each had 10 points while Cabbagestalk added 6 points followed by Reeves with 5 points. McKinnon and Brayboy each had 4 points. McRae added 3 points, and Dingle connected for 2 points.
Lady Wildcats Pick Up Win Over Latta
The Dillon Lady Wildcats returned home on Friday, December 13, with a 69-50 win over the Latta Vikings varsity basketball team in a game played in Latta.
Dillon’s Jykya Bell had 22 points followed by Chyna Pouncey with 18 points. Shantazia Gordon added 12 points for the Lady Cats while Deanna Lane connected for 7 points. Alyse Hines garnered 4 points. Allayssa Simmons, Jayla Goodwin, and Chi’Nailyn Williamson each had 2 points in the game.
The Latta Vikings will host Johnsonville on Wenesday, December 18, at 5:00 p.m.
Lady Bobcats Win
The visiting Carolina Academy Lady Bobcats handed the Dillon Christian School Lady Warriors a 29-20 loss in varsity basketball action played in Dillon on Friday, December 13.
The Bobcats held the Warriors scoreless in the first period with a 7-0 score. By halftime Carolina Academy was leading 15-3. In the third quarter of play, the Lady Warriors began to score and cut the lead to only 4 points.
DCS Defeats Bobcats
The Dillon Christian School Warriors sent the Carolina Academy Bobcats home on Friday, December 13, with a 73-45 loss in varsity basketball action played in Dillon.
After the first quarter, the Warriors held a 16-9 lead and continued to build on that lead until Dillon Christian School was up 37-19 at halftime. After 3 quarters of play, Dillon Christian School led 58-36.
Dillon Christian School’s Ethan Brewington scored a game-high 22 points. Ian Bethea and Weston Glasgow each added 16 points. Duran added 8 points while Norman added 4 points. Boykin connected for 2 points, and Phillip Campbell added a point.
Carolina Academy’s Cade Castles and Matt Joye each had 12 points in the game. Austin Brown added 11 points, and Wilde added 4 points. Smith had 3 points, and Sauls had 2 points. Matthews connected for a free throw.
