Mr. Sylvester Jackson passed away at Carlyle Senior Care in Florence, S.C. on October 21, 2019.
Mr. Jackson was the first employee of Rural Sanitation, Inc., and Alvin Nobles “right hand man” for 27 years. Never have you had better BBQ than with his famous sauce. He went on to compete in BBQ cook offs throughout the Pee Dee.
The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at True Evidence Chapel in Lake View.
