Beginning Friday, July 5, the City of Dillon will welcome 24 Dixie Youth teams to Dillon with a meal at the City of Dillon Wellness Center followed by an Opening Ceremony to recognize the 24 teams.
There will be three state tournaments taking place at the City of Dillon Sports Complex beginning Saturday, July 6, starting at 9 a.m.
A 12-team tournament to determine the 2019 Dixie Youth AA Coach Pitch State Champion will be played on Fields A and B with nine games on Saturday, July 6. On Sunday, July 7, beginning at 1 p.m., there will be seven games played during the day. Monday, July 8, games begin at 2 p.m. with five games being played and on Tuesday, July 9, starting at 10 a.m., the Championship series will begin. This a double-elimination tournament with the winner advancing to the 2019 Dixie Youth AA World Series in Ruston, Louisiana, July 26-30.
The 2019 Dixie Youth Majors Division 1 State Tournament will have six teams competing for the State Championship. The games will be played on Field C with three games on Saturday, July 6, starting at 9 a.m. Sunday, July 7, there will be two (2) games followed with two games on Monday, July 8, and Tuesday, July 9. This double elimination tournament will end on Wednesday, July 10, with the Championship series beginning at 11 a.m. The winner advancing to the Dixie Youth World Series August 2-8 in Ruston, Louisiana.
The 2019 Dixie Youth Majors Division 2 State Tournament will also have six teams competing for the State Championship. This state tournament will be played on Field D beginning on Saturday, July 6, with three games scheduled followed by two games on Sunday, two games on Monday and Tuesday, and the Championship series beginning on Wednesday, July 10, at 11 a.m.
The winner advancing to the Dixie Youth World Series Division 2 in Lumberton, N.C., July 25-31.
