The Fifth Annual Bike & Walk A-thon for Huntington’s Disease (HD) will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Town Clock located at the Train Depot on Main Street on Saturday, April 27.
Participants can bike a 15- or 25-mile ride or choose to walk, run or ride (in a golf cart) a 5K. For those who live out of town, they can virtual walk a 5K in their own community and still be a part of this important event. Funds raised support families who are fighting for a cure for this devasting disease. Since starting the annual Bike & Walk A-Thon, the state’s first HD Center of Excellence opened at Palmetto Health in Columbia, SC.
