Doris Gloria “Mickie” Johnson, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, May 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Eva Lane Altman. She was a member of Dillon Congregational Holiness Church, and was the widow of the late John Hoyt “Jack” Johnson.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Dillon Congregational Holiness Church with burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 and from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the church.
Survivors include her sisters and brothers, Mary Eleanor (David) Moore of Tuscaloosa, AL, Charles ( Phyllis) Lane of Dillon, Anna Kathryn (Bob) Reid of Ooltewah, TN, Bobby (Debbie) Altman, and Billy Altman of Dillon; sister-in-law, Faye Altman of Latta; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Altman.
