The Hinson Sisters blessed the congregation and visitors at Mount Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, January 27, at 11:00 a.m. with Bluegrass Gospel Music and ministering of the Word.
This group has been performing since 2009.
The Bluegrass gospel group has made some recent changes such as the oldest member, Kristin, has married and has a son. Melissa and Katelyn have also gotten married. Kristin was not with the group on Sunday at Mount Calvary. However, Katelyn’s husband, Matt Love, was with the group. He played guitar, backup vocalist, and also sang a solo. Katelyn is the lead singer, backup vocalist, and plays Mandolin and guitar. Allison assumed the role as mc for the group as Kristin was not with the group. Allison plays the banjo, guitar, backup vocalist, and soloist.
After many songs, Rev. Cooke held worship through the commitment.
Mount Calvary Baptist Church is located at 405 Mount Calvary Road, Dillon
Rev. Harold Cooke is the pastor.
