Services for Jimmy Hardwick will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Beulah Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will be held in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hardwick, 71, died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, March 15, 1947, he was the son of the late Wesley Hardwick and Nola Mae Johnson Hardwick. He was a faithful member of Beulah Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Hardwick of Dillon; daughter, Karen (Wayne) Collins of Mullins; step-son, Carl Gus Hulon of Dillon; grandchildren, Jessica (Woody) Shelley, Gordon Shelley, and McKenzie Shelley; great-grandchildren, Anzleigh and Saylor Shelley, and Miranda Hulon; sister, Faye (Oneil) Oates of Dillon; brother, June Hardwick of Baltimore, MD.
Mr. Hardwick was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank Hardwick and Evans Hardwick; and sister, Margaret Rich.
