Mr. Jimmy Ray Miller died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at McLeod Medical Center of Dillon after an illness.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake View, S.C. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery directed by Cooke Funeral Home. The family received friends Monday, January 7, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake View.
Mr. Miller was born in Dillon County, S.C. on January 5, 1937, the son of the late Albert and Loraine King Miller. He worked as a Superintendent for Eskridge and Long Construction. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake View. He loved to fish, NASCAR racing and football.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Nellie Page Miller; son, Timmy Miller (Tina); daughter, Penny Rae Miller Hayes (Kenny); brother, Wendell Miller (Joan); sisters, Kitty Miller and Janet M. Andrews (Jerry); grandchildren, Daniel Miller, Matt Miller, Leigh Ann Hayes and Casey Hayes; great grandchildren, Shane and Elizabeth Anne.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Albert Miller; and sister, Nadine Miller.
