The Mount Baptist Church held the 131st Homecoming Service on Sunday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m.
The Preparation for Worship was by Miss Linda McKenzie.
After prayer, Pastor Harold Cooke welcomed everyone to the service.
After the Tithes and Offerings, there was singing by the choir.
After the Mount Calvary Quartet blessed the congregation with song, Lizzie Tanner, daughter of Music Director Gene Tanner, accompanied lead while leading the congregation in song. Mrs. Blair Winburn, wife of Rev. Brian Winburn, blessed everyone with two beautiful songs.
Pastor Harold Cooke welcomed Rev. Brian Winburn, pastor at High Point Baptist Church in Conway, S.C. and former Youth Director at Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
Rev. Winburn’s sermon was from I Samuel 17:32.
After the invitation, everyone was invited to lunch at the Mount Calvary Family Life Center.
Mount Calvary Baptist Church is located at 405 Mount Calvary Road, Dillon.
