Members of the Carolinas Art Guild met on Thursday, September 27, to hear a program on Woodcarving presented by Rufus Rowland.
Rufus utilized a PowerPoint Program to explain the tools and methods he uses to carve wooden faces. He also displayed a variety of his own woodcarvings including birds, scenes, and faces; and those present recognized several famous faces from his collection.
The Carolinas Art Guild will have its next meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, at the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Parish Hall.
This program will be presented by Lynda Barnes Cottingham, a former Dillon resident, who will use her own smart phone to talk about “Smart Phone Photography.” We invite anyone who is interested to join us for this fun and interesting program. (Contributed Photos)
