The Rowland faith community once again came together to serve its neighbors in the aftermath of a hurricane. The combined efforts of the local churches fed over 700 meals in the Rowland area. Meals were served at New Hope UMC and First Baptist Church Rowland to anyone in need of food. The churches were able to build on the trust forged in the wake of Hurricane Matthew as they responded to the needs created from Hurricane Florence. In addition to the food prepared by church members they also served food provided by the Red Cross. (Contributed Photos)
