Bishop Michael Goings of Dillon, South Carolina, who serves as the senior pastor of Outreach Family Fellowship with locations in Dillon and Florence, recently attended a special book publishers and distributors exhibition in Memphis, Tennessee.
All of the major book publishers and distributors were present with their booths that displayed their most popular books to buyers and bookstore owners from across America. Bishop Goings, whose book, “Free At Last? The Reality of Racism in the Church” that was written over twenty years ago, was there for its official rerelease by God’s Life Publishing of New Jersey and Hawaii.
Due to the pressing and very timely subject and issues that it deals with in a simplistic way, the publisher of God’s Life Publishing wanted to feature it at their display.
This book will be available in most of the major bookstores.
Bishop Goings is the author of over fourteen books, as well as a novel that is soon to be released entitled, “Seed of Simon”. He is also a guest columnist of the Dillon Herald newspaper.
He is married to Dr. Louise Goings, who is a published author, as well as an educator, and co-pastor of Outreach Family Fellowship. They have two children, Jennifer Goings Rouse and Michael Eugene Goings, II.
