Mrs. Lunette Barfield Jackson, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence surrounded by her loving family.
Celebrating her life here and the new life beginning will be held in a private graveside service 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Resthaven Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was held 6-9 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home.
Born in Dillon County, SC, February 19, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Arnettie Herring Barfield. She was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church. Her career consisted of working at Craftex Creations and retiring from Perdue.
Survivors include her children: Johnny Wayne Barfield of the home, and David Jackson; grandson, D.J. Jackson of Dillon, SC; sisters, Edna Lollis of Greenville, SC, Wanda Berry of Mullins, and Joyce Woodbury of GA; special cousins, Lois Miller of Lake View, and Janice Bryant of Latta.
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Helen Hulon, Claudia Sanders; brothers, Jerry Barfield, Danny Lee Barfield, and Billy Ray Barfield.
