Beverly Carol Cottingham Richardson, 62, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 1, 2018.
A Celebration of her life will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon. Visitation will follow the service.
Born in Dillon County, SC, August 1, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Royce Cottingham, Sr. and Virginia Smith Cottingham. She was a Christian of the baptist faith. Beverly was a former Guidance Secretary at Dillon High School for seventeen years, was a former Dispatcher at the Dillon Police Department, and was a former church Secretary at Northgate Baptist Church in Florence.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Russell Caddell Richardson of Florence; son, Justin (Stephanie) Rankin; sisters and brothers, Cheryl (Bill) Stubbs, Royce (Eva Jo) Cottingham, Jr., both of Dillon, Kristie (Steve) Zander of Dillon, Jenna Harrell of Florence, Glenn (Debbie) Cottingham of Marion, and Ginny (Mickey) Moody of Dillon; uncle, Charles “Chuck” Cottingham of Centenary, SC; cousins, Kathy Cottingham of Centenary, SC, Charlene Yarborough of Mt. Pleasant, Patti Watts of Marion, and Mary Louise Daniels of Florence.
