Services for Alton Eugene Hunt will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Pee Dee Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Hunt died Saturday, July 28, 2018. Born on August 8, 1928. He was retired from the Dillon Company. Survivors include his wife, Nettie Mae Hunt; children, Lois Herring (James), James A. Hunt (Betty), both of Dillon, Stella Thompson (Sammy) of Hamer, Susie Stewart (Michael), Martha Strickland, both of Dillon, Mary Paige (James) of Summerville, Charles A. Hunt of Dillon, Bonnie Lane (Raymond) of Hamer, and Ricky Hunt (Susie) of Little Rock; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Hunt, Buster Hunt, and Earl Hunt; and his sister, Addie Mae Hunt.
