Special Dillon City Council Meeting
May 29, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.
A special meeting of City Council was held in the Council Chambers of the City-County Complex Building, located at 401 West Main Street, Dillon, S.C. Council members present were Mayor Todd Davis, Councilman James Washington, Councilman Douglas Jackson, and Mayor Pro-Tem Connie Manning. Councilman John Braddy, Councilman Johnny Eller, and Councilman Phil Wallace were absent. Mayor Todd Davis called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Councilman Jackson made a motion to approve the agenda with a second from mayor Pro-tem Manning. The motion passed unanimously. Councilman Jackson then made the motion to enter into an executive session to discuss a legal issue with the engineering firm. Councilman Washington seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. With no further business to discuss and no action taken, Councilman Jackson made the motion to go back to open session and to adjourn the meeting. Councilman Washington seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m.

Dillon City Council
Budget Workshop
Monday, June 4, 2018
The City of Dillon Council met at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City-County Complex Building located at 401 West Main Street in Dillon, SC for a budget workshop to discuss the 2018-2019 fiscal year budget. In attendance were Mayor Todd Davis, Mayor Pro-tem Connie Manning, Councilman Johnny Eller, Councilman John Braddy and Councilman Phil Wallace. Councilman Douglas Jackson and Councilman James Washington were absent.
Mayor Davis called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Councilman Wallace made a motion to approve the agenda with support from Councilman Eller. The motion passed unanimously.
City Manager Glen Wagner and Finance Director Janet Bethea presented the budget information to Council for the General Fund and the Water & Sewer Fund. There was much discussion.
Councilman Wallace made a motion to enter into an executive session to discuss a contractual matter in water and sewer. Councilman Braddy seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Executive session began at 7:40 p.m.
With no further business to discuss, Councilman Wallace made a motion to go back into open session and to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Councilman Braddy and passes unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
