The Automotive Technology Program at the Dillon County Technology Center has undergone a transformation from being National Automotive Technology Education Foundation (NATEF) to becoming the new accredited Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Program. This certified program will continue to allow high school students be proctored for the ASE testing. This program also allows students more ASE training time and opportunities for certifications at different levels through the school ASE Testing Program. Students who pass one or more or all ten of these ASE certification tests will be a “student certified technician” in that particular level which is valid for 2 years under this program. A certified career can start here for high school students in the Automotive Technology Program at the Dillon County Technology Center.
