Iris Latisha Johnson, 41, a native of Dillon, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.
She was born December 17, 1976, to Prentis and Beatrice Bethea of Dillon, SC. Married on May 5, 2001, Iris was a devoted wife to her husband, Darian Johnson, of High Point, NC, and loving mother to her two daughters, Kierra Johnson and Tamara Johnson.
Iris, affectionately known as “Tisha” to most, was a graduate of Latta High School in Latta, SC. She went on to achieve an associate degree from Brookstone College and attended Guilford Technical Community College. She excelled in client management and was employed with the corporate offices of United Healthcare and Sealy. Iris loved her profession and co-workers.
Iris was a very joyous, fun and loving person who will be remembered by many. She enjoyed beach vacations, hosting gatherings at home, and laughing. A daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend, Iris was first and foremost a follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ and loved everyone she met with the love of the Lord.
Iris leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Darian Johnson, and their two daughters, Kierra Johnson and Tamara Johnson, her parents, Prentis and Beatrice Bethea, one sister, Princess Bazley-Bethea (Miya) of Washington, DC, mother-in-law, Diane Johnson of High Point, NC, sister-in-law, Tori Johnson (Ray) of High Point, NC, nieces, Imani Henard and Reagan Spears, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends who were very special to her.
