The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Dillon High School student, Malik Sen’Cere Rogers, age 18, of Dillon, with Simple Possession of Marijuana and Carrying a Weapon on School Property, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, Dillon High School administration notified the school resource officer about a drug related incident with Rogers and during the investigation a handgun was located in Rogers book bag.
Rogers was arrested and is currently being held at the Dillon County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
