Two people have been awarded the City of Dillon UPFIT grants. The City of Dillon’s UPFIT grant program provides financial assistance for persons making physical improvements to private property in the downtown commercial historic district. The city will contribute up to $15,000 per grant with a maximum of two grants funded this year. All work must be completed by June 2018. One grant was awarded to Jonathan McLeod of Troika Group of the Carolina, Inc., at 112 West Main Street in Dillon. The total cost of improvements for his project is $109,561.27. The other grant was awarded to Harold Hudgins Heat and Air for the property at 207 East Main Street in Dillon. The total cost of improvements for his project was $57,000.
