On Monday, February 19, 2018 the school resource officer at Dillon High School was made aware that there was a social media post threat concerning a school shooting at Dillon High School, according to Captain Cliff Arnette. The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating to determine if a threat was posted on social media. The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office was assisted with this incident by the Dillon Police Department.
