Two bodies were located in a structure fire that occurred early Sunday, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
On Sunday, January 14, 2018, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, Dillon County Fire Department Station 4, and Floyd Dale Fire Department were dispatched to a structure fire on Dusk Drive in Dillon at approximately 3:25 a.m.
During the firefighting efforts, the bodies of two individuals were located in the residence.
The Dillon County Coroner was notified about the deaths.
The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, Dillon County Coroner’s Office, SLED, and the S.C. Fire Marshall’s Office are investigating the fire.
