On Saturday, November 12th, the North Carolina Society of Historians held their annual awards ceremony at the beautiful Stone Family Performing Arts Center in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
Local writer Carley Wiggins was presented with two awards. In the book category, he won for his last book, Deliver Us From Evil. In the publication category, he won for a combination of two newspaper articles, The World’s Deadliest D.A. and A Truck Driver Who Changed The World.
This makes eight awards that Wiggins has received from the organization which has been around since 1942.
