A Florida woman was killed in a hit and run on Highway 301 North this past weekend.
Coroner Donnie Grimsley identifies the woman as Michelle Groper, a 65-year-old white female.
The woman was crossing the road when she was struck by a car that left the scene.
Highway Patrol later located and charged Gwanda Hunt, age 47, with leaving the scene of a collision involving death.
