FLORENCE – Marion Joseph Watts, 73, died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at McLeod Hospice House of the Pee Dee. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon, SC with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 140 Timberlake Drive, Florence, SC 29501. Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon, SC is assisting the family.
Mr. Watts was born in Dillon County, SC, September 23, 1943, the son of the late James and Ethel Conyers Watts. He retired from Davids of Dillon as a Maintenance Supervisor. Marion was a member of Impact Church in Orangeburg, SC.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Louise McDowell Watts of the home; sons, Rick Watts (Sheila) of Orangeburg, SC and Kenny Watts (Shannon) of Darlington, SC; grandchildren, Phillip Watts (Cara), Shea Watts (Kathryn), Christian Watts; and two great-grandchildren.
