The Lake View Wild Gators handed Creek Bridge a 13-0 loss in a shortened run-ruled 3-inning varsity baseball game played in Lake View on Thursday, March 16.
Jordan King picked up the win for the Wild Gators while pitching 3 shutout innings. He gave up only 1 hit while striking out 5. He walked no one.
Lake View jumped off to an early lead picking up 12 runs in the first inning. The Wild Gators added another run in the bottom of the second inning.
Creek Bridge committed 3 errors while Lake View did not commit an error.
The Gators’ Nick Collins was perfect at the plate with 2 hits and a rbi in 2 trips there. Brent Herlong connected for a triple and 2 rbi in his 2 at-bats. Hunter Stevens garnered 2 hits and a rbi in 3 plate appearances.
Lake View is 4-2 for the season.
The Lake View Wild Gators will travel to East Clarendon on Tuesday, March 21, for a 5:30 p.m. game.
