On December 27, 2016, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to an assault at Lil Bill’s Convenience Store, according to Captain Cliff Arnette.
According to an incident report by Deputy Dennis Cox and 1st Sgt.Michael Barfield, the clerk at Lil Bill’s Convenience Store was assaulted with pepper spray during a robbery attempt.
Two individuals entered the store and one of the subjects assaulted the store clerk with pepper spray and tried to get money out of the register. The clerk resisted the efforts of the suspect taking money from the register and the suspects fled in a white Cadillac.
The Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying the two individuals shown.
