The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and ATM theft that occurred at Roger’s Convenience Store, according to Captain Cliff Aenette. On Sunday, January 1, 2017, at approximately 3:41 a.m. the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an alarm call at Roger’s Convenience Store and upon arrival at the business Deputy Dennis Cox noticed the front door pulled away from the door frame. 1ST Sgt. Michael Barfield and Deputy Kenneth Samuel responded to assist and upon further investigation it was determined that a burglary had occurred and an ATM machine was removed from the business.
