Delane Rowell, 79, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at his residence.
Funeral services were held 3:00 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Born in Conway, SC, May 11, 1937, he was the son of the late James Corbette Rowell and Althie Alice Rowell. He was a member of Catfish Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Grace Rowell of Latta; son, Henry (Hazel) Jackson of Dillon; daughter, Sandra (Steve) Miles of Latta; sisters, Alleene Meggs of Bennettsville and Estlene Morrison of North Myrtle Beach; special nephews, David & Tony Blackwell; grandchildren, Kelly (Tabby) Campbell, Wesley (Jennifer) Lane, Sarah Beth Jackson, and Brandon (Jennifer) Miles; great-grandchildren, Lance Campbell, Key Campbell, Jessie Lane, Josh Lane, Luke Miles, Brenden Miles, and Austin Miles.
Mr. Rowell was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Delora Campbell; brother, Wilber Corbette Rowell; and sister, Gladys Rowell.
