Iacob Marcovici, MD, McLeod OB/GYN Dillon, has recently had two academic publications for his contributions in women’s health.
In January 2016, Dr. Marcovici’s article “Vulvar Abcess due to Actinomyces Meyerii” was published in ClinMed International Library’s Obstetrics and Bynaecology Cases – Reviews.  

A second article, “Spontaneous Expulsion of an Essure® Coil Seven Years after Insertion,” was published in February 2016 in the Medical Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Dr. Marcovici will also be giving a presentation on this work at the Pioneer Century Science Global Obstetrics and Gynaecology Congress held in Prague, Czech Public, in June 2016.
With many years of training and clinical and surgical experience, Dr. Marcovici integrates a compassionate and personal approach with modern, cutting edge technologies that allow him to provide the best care.  He has been practicing OB/GYN for more than 20 years.  He has held academic appointments at the University of Michigan, Yale University and the University of Connecticut.
